SIMON FRASER MACDONALD is a self taught artist working
in Watercolour, Oil Pastel, Oil and Acrylic. Raised on the Alberta prairies, he currently works from his studio in Glen Williams,
Ontario as well as his home studio in Heart Lake. Over the years and miles, Simon has carried his sketch books, pencils and
cameras to try to capture that unique view or perspective of simple things. Inspired by light and colour, by the stillness
or the movement, by nature or by man-made; the results are bright, richly coloured renderings. Currently he is focused on
recording the beauty of Glen Williams and the Ontario countryside.
